Hmoob Word-a-Day Project Looking for Helpers

The Hmoob Word-a-Day Project (HWAD),
http://www.easternlanguagespecialists.com/hmongwordaday.html, is looking for
volunteers who are willing to donate a little bit of their time (an hour or two at the most)
each month to help us develop postings for our website.

Since its beginnings in June of 2004, HWAD has grown to reach 1000's of Hmong youth
each month. Over the past 6 months, we have come to a few conclusions. The best way
to support this effort is through the service of a large body of concerned and talented
Hmong speakers. Whether you are a professional, an educator, a student, or an
individual who knows Hmoob or can work with some of the older generation who have
such a vast, rich knowledge of the language, we need your help! We are willing to donate
our time to coordinate these efforts and maintain the site, but we need a few good men
and women who are willing to provide us with a few word submissions each month. We
need your expertise in the Hmong language!

What we are looking for is this:
- Each month to provide 1 or more new word submissions, complete with examples,
similar words, etc. (similar to the example found on our website).
- A short bio about yourself (perhaps with a picture) that we can post on our website so
that the Hmong community can know who the contributers to the site are.
- Honest opinions about how we can make the site better and how to best use the site to
help young people have a desire to develop and use their Hmong language skills

The best part of this service is that it gets people excited about the Hmong language. We
have received numerous emails from people who appreciate and enjoy the service. Let's
work together as a global Hmong community to help preserve and honor the language!
